The Civil Training Simulator is a twoseater. Between the two pilot seats is the centre console where the interactive instruments can be housed. It can be equipped with an LCD screen or projector. The two-seat configuration allows for the presence of an instructor. The simulator is customizable in colour and features; dual controls can be mounted.

The Training Simulator for Schools is a two-seater and is equipped with a hand-wheel, rudder bar and engine throttles (engine rpm, fuel mixture control and propeller pitch control). On the central panel are the ignition controls, a control panel, a keyboard, a mouse, audio inputs and outputs and volume control. The two-seater configuration allows for the presence of an instructor and the audio system allows headphone communication between student and instructor.

The Fighter Training Simulator is a one-seater equipped with a joystick, engine throttle and rudder bar. In the central panel are the simulator ignition controls, a control panel, a keyboard, a mouse, audio inputs and outputs and volume control. It can be equipped with an LCD screen or projector. The PC is installed in a compartment not accessible to the public. The simulator is customizable by colour and the features of the instrument panel.

The historic simulators produced by 215kg are unique works built for the purpose of offering the user a flight experience similar to that of a real flight on planes that are no longer operative. These are life-sized replicas built according to the original design of the aircraft. The materials used and construction techniques, such as the covering of the wings or fuselage structure, come strictly from aviation models. 215kg builds reproductions complete with fuselages, wings and tailplanes, starting from the original project and parts of existing aircrafts, such as fuselage frameworks or decommissioned airplanes.

The SPAD XIII is a one-seater fighter biplane produced during WWI by the French company Société Pour l’Aviation et ses Dérivés. It was one of the best airplanes of the First World War and was produced by the thousands. The aircraft was used by numerous Air Forces, including those of Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Poland, the Russian Empire, Siam, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uruguay.

I simulatori storici prodotti da 215kg sono opere uniche realizzate con lo scopo di offrire all’utente un’esperienza di volo simile a quella del vero volo, su apparecchi ormai non più operativi. Si tratta di riproduzioni a grandezza naturale la cui costruzione si basa sul progetto originale del velivolo. I materiali impiegati e la tecnica costruttiva, come il rivestimento delle ali o la struttura della fusoliera, sono di stretta derivazione aeronautica. 215kg realizza riproduzioni complete di fusoliere, ali e piani di coda partendo dal progetto originale e da parti di velivoli esistenti, come carcasse di fusoliere o aeroplani dismessi.

Il Fokker Dr1 era un caccia monomotore triplano prodotto dall’azienda imperiale tedesca Fokker all’inizio del XX secolo. Utilizzato dalla Luftstreitkräfte, l’Aeronautica Militare Tedesca era uno dei pochi velivoli che adottava il particolare triplo piano alare. Fu il velivolo sul quale volò il famoso aviatore Manfred von Richthofen, meglio conosciuto come il Barone Rosso.

The I-MINI is a simulator targeted at young users. Built entirely with nontoxic products, it replicates the shape of a small single-engine prop airplane. The cockpit can accommodate two “young pilots” and has a joystick and a rudder bar. By operating the appropriate controls, the control surfaces, ailerons, elevator and turn rudder move like those of a real airplane. The panel houses reproductions of the principal navigation instruments and a video shows how to operate the aircraft.

In novembre Giancarlo Zanardo ha esposto la riproduzione volante dello SPAD XIII di Francesco Baracca in galleria Vittorio Emanuele a Milano. Si tratta dell’ultima tappa del bellissimo velivolo realizzato da Zanardo prima del suo definitivo “ricovero” presso il Museo del Piave Vincenzo Colognese, dove i visitatori potranno ammirare questo capolavoro vicino ai simulatori di volo realizzati da 215Kg. Il pubblico potrà quindi godere della vista dell’aeroplano funzionante e provare anche l’emozione del volo simulato.
